I started Deacon Search in September 1999, after training and qualifying as a City Lawyer. My aim was to build a successful, fully independent and ethical recruitment business. Over the years the team has grown with the addition of intelligent, experienced, diverse and talented recruiters (mostly ex-City Lawyers), with over 100 years of recruitment experience between them.
More importantly, our consultants are great people with a good sense of humour, and who look out for each other, their candidates and their clients.
Our reputation, stability and longevity have made us very well known in the industry and clients and candidates alike take us seriously. We are fiercely independent, and not answerable to any shareholders.
Integrity is at the heart of what we do. We conduct our business with honesty and transparency at all times and this governs our approach together with a passion for what we do. We are also proud to donate 10% of our net profit each year to charity. I have always wanted to create a business that would give back to society, and our continued support of a wide range of charities is something that I am particularly proud of.
