Gita joined Deacon in 2018 and is an experienced partner recruiter in the legal sector, focusing on US and international firms in London. She represents partners looking for their next role, solely and/or as part of a team and advises law firms on strategic lateral hires. Her expertise includes the banking and finance, corporate and disputes sectors.
Gita graduated from the University of Leicester with a 2:1 in Law before completing the LPC. She worked in the litigation departments of two major City firms before moving into legal recruitment with ZMB (now Hays Legal) in 2001. Prior to joining Deacon, Gita was a director at Fox Rodney Search, undertaking contingent and retained search assignments for partner level roles on behalf of UK, international and US firms.
Interests: Health and fitness; travelling abroad for hiking and/or yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
