Having trained and qualified in the City as a litigator, Paul Deacon discovered his true professional passion of legal recruitment in 1997. Two years later, he established Deacon.
His aim was to build a successful, fully independent and ethical recruitment business. Over the years the team has grown with the addition of intelligent, experienced, diverse and talented recruiters (mostly ex-City Lawyers), with decades of recruitment experience between them.
Our team’s reputation, stability and longevity have made us trusted advisers to both lawyers and law firms. Honesty and transparency are at the heart of our ethos. We are fiercely independent, and not answerable to any external shareholders.
At Deacon we take our corporate social responsibility very seriously, and Paul is proud to donate 10% of his net profits each year to charity.
